My house

I am a mother. I have been a mother for almost three months now. It has changed my life, as countless people told me it would, but in a way I understand well. Right now I am watching my son stretch in his sleep he is lying on the floor Diesel, my dog, is lying next to him and I am wondering what will happen next? Will he wake up, cry for a feeding or just relax back into his easy slumber? This is the change I understand, the unknown, the responding, another person's behavior impacting the direction of the day. I am a flexible person, adaptable, I like constant change, but I also like the comforts of stability.

He's woken now a wriggling machine.
